Access control systems based on cylinder locks, such as the Master Key from Cisa, are the ideal solution to the problem of unnecessary keys and unauthorized access. You don't need ten different keys for ten different doors - just one is enough. Or three, five, ten - and each of these keys can only fit specific doors in the system - and in any combination. Moreover, this system works with cylinders of different sizes - that is, doors of different thickness can be used in one system.
How it works? Let's consider the basic access control schemes that are implemented in Master Key systems from Cisa.
Scheme 1. One key opens several doors - the simplest scheme. For example, one key to all office premises. Or one key to the dacha and apartment.
Scheme 2. The same as in Scheme 1, except that in addition to the main key to each door, there is also a unique one that does not match other doors in the system. For example, for an accountant, the key opens only the accounting department, for the secretary, only the secretary's, and the director's key opens all doors in the office.
Scheme 3. Reverse Scheme 2. Each door has one unique key, but any key from the system can open a common door (for example, a toilet, a gate, a kitchen).
Scheme 4. Hierarchical Scheme 2 of more levels. For example, each department head has a unique office key, every department head has a key to all offices on the floor, and the security chief has a key to all doors on all floors. There can be as many levels of the hierarchy as you want. To change or supplement the Master Key system, it will be enough to contact the Cisa service center, where all cylinders will be recoded to a new operation scheme in 1-2 days.
These are the basic schemes. Your particular circuit can combine the capabilities of the main circuits in any combination - it all depends on your needs. The scheme can be changed and improved. There is no need to change the cylinders themselves.
The Master Key system from Cisa has long been used in many European office and shopping centers, and has already received a lot of positive feedback. Its advantages are obvious - the more doors, the, of course, the larger the bunch of keys, which you have to go through each time to find the right key. And if someone loses a bundle, a whole mountain of castles will have to be changed. This will never happen if you install the Cisa Master Key system: one individual key will open all the doors you need!
